Volume 2 Glossary

1. Svetlana (スヴェトラーナ/ Suvetorāna)

A unique Iron-Blood Transforming Vehicle (鋼血変形車, Kōketsu Henkei-sha) used by Chaika Trabant and her companions. Powered by magical fuel, Svetlana is a heavily armored, tank-like carriage capable of transforming to adapt to various terrains. It serves as the group’s primary means of transportation throughout their journey to collect the remains of the Emperor Gaz. Unlike other unnamed vehicles of the same class used by various factions, Svetlana is specifically named and personalized, symbolizing both the group's independence and their bond.

2. Guy - ガイ, Gai

A mysterious, informant who appears before our Chaika. He provides guidance and information, pushing them to collect Emperor Gaz’s remains to her...In this volume that is.

3. Dragoon, Dragon and Dragoon cavalier 

"dragoon" and "cavalier" are tied closely through the character Dominica Skoda, a dragoon cavalier known an elite warrior bonded with a dragoon. Dragoons in this world are powerful, intelligent dragons capable of taking human form, like Fredrica, who once served as Dominica’s contracted dragoon. A dragoon cavalier rides and fights alongside their dragoon, forming a symbiotic relationship that combines the strength of man and dragon in battle. 

Normal dragons and dragoons. While dragoons like Fredrica are intelligent, powerful beings capable of speech and even taking human form, there are also ordinary dragons that act more like wild beasts or monsters. These normal dragons don’t form contracts with humans and lack the intelligence and transformation ability that set dragoons apart. This distinction highlights the special status of dragoon cavaliers, who form rare, deep bonds with the sentient dragoon species, unlike common knights who might simply fight or hunt regular dragons.
